H&M has a lot to be proud of, their sustainability work has been awarded for the fourth time by Ethisphere Institute, an independent center of research promoting best practices in corporate ethics and governance, and named H&M as a 2014 World’s Most Ethical Company.
When I think environmentally friendly fashion I imagine boho/ hippie organic material and shapeless clothes. H&M proves me wrong once again. On April 10th, H&M launches its new Conscious and Conscious Exclusive collections which feature products that are anything but boring.
Supermodel and actress Amber Valletta is the face of the Conscious collection campaign and looks like an ethereal goddess in sumptuous white lace. The fabrics are dramatic and intricate details inspired by flamenco and bohemia.
They’ve introduced two new materials, organic leather from the Swedish leather supplier Tärnsjö, and organic silk, that successfully shows what can be created with more sustainable materials.
